WELCOME TO MY SHRUBSOLE & LOCKLEY FAMILY TREES

April 2012
I'm slowly working through my trees & confirming my data with further sources where possible, & trying to fill in the missing census gaps.
There are updates to the SHRUBSOLE, LOCKLEY, & COLLINS trees.
Where there has been an adjustment of a birth, marriage or death date of a year either way I have amended the details on the website but have not listed them separately.
Where I have made other amendments or have added new members of the tree to the site I have listed them HERE. This will hopefully save you time trawling through the whole site to find amendments.
Please remember, if you obtain information from somebody else, including from me, then check it out with sources. It is always best to try & verify all data with more than one source if at all possible, to confirm. I will happily help out if anyone has any queries with my data, or would like to know my sources for a particular individual & if I have made any glaring mistakes that you spot I would be grateful if you'd let me know.

January 2012
Happy New Year to everybody.
I am back on track with my updates & now hope to be able to do them at more regular intervals.
There are many dates of birth that I have adjusted after finding more sources, but as it's only been an adjustment of a year or two either way I haven't listed all of the individuals.
The rest of the updates are on a list which can be found HERE. They are either new found members of the tree or have amended details on their page.
Hopefully this will save you time trawling through the whole site to find out what is new.

June 2011
At last I've found time to do the updates. We had a couple of rainy days & I left the ironing 'till another day & sat in front the computer to get this done, so now I can concentrate on more research.
My thanks go to newly found relatives who have helped me out with data - Brian & Val Fagg & Rory Paddock.
I have made a list of the updates, which can be found HERE. They are either new found members of the family or have amended details on their page. Hopefully this list will save you trawling through the whole site to find out what's new.
There are updates to the Shrubsole, Lockley & Collins trees.
A couple of photos have been added as well, so do check the photo album if you have time.

At the last update I sent out e mails to the following people that were returned as no longer active -
Gerri Shumate, Lynn Martin, Hazel Shrubsole, Chris Shrubsole Vogels, & Sheila Beal.
If any of you are reading this & would like to let me have your current e mail address I will see that it is put on the list for updates in future.

January 2011
I have added Graham's COLLINS family tree to the website with the details we have so far. Much more work to be done on this. I have also put in a new section for friends & family to keep them posted on our progress (or lack of) on the smallholding venture - not much there at the moment except a few pics but hopefully we'll add to it each month.

September 2010
My regular viewers will know that we moved from Kent, England to live in a lovely part of Ceredigion, near New Quay in Wales at the end of June this year. As a result of our move we had to change ISP's & I lost my free webspace so had to find somewhere else to host my website. After trying out various sites I finally decided the best option was to purchase some webspace on an annual basis; that way the site wouldn't be plagued with adverts, banners & pop ups. It was a lot of trial and error, as always with me, when venturing down an unknown path, but the host site had a fantastic helpdesk & they guided me through the process & gave me a lot of help to get me up & running again. I am so pleased I took this route - I now have a secure hosting site for as long as I wish & am able to do updates very easily. The website has just gone live again in the last week & I have been checking for errors & correcting where I find. If anybody finds anything not quite right or links not working please, please let me know & I will try & fix it.
Do check back regularly as I will now be concentrating my efforts on further research & adding the updates in the next few weeks - those of you on the mailing list will be automatically informed when updates are added.
We are also hoping to add the research we have done so far in Graham's family tree in the next few weeks.
