WELCOME TO MY SHRUBSOLE FAMILY
I have decided not to put a list of the main genealogy sites on this page, as most of you will already be aware of them. Instead I have added just a few of the large ones, together with a few other sites, that I have found interesting, helpful and inspirational whilst surfing the net in pursuit of my hobby.
If anyone else has their own website, related to family or local history, that they would like added to my list please let me know.
Another SHRUBSOLE family website which is well worth a look. There is a lovely story on there, but I will let you see that for yourself. Unfortunately this site has moved and I do not have the new URL; if anyone out there finds it please let me know. Jef's e-mail address has also changed so I can't contact him either.
Kent On Line Parish Clerks - http://www.Kent-opc.org.uk
This is a site that gives you access to OPC's [on line parish clerks]; volunteers who collect, collate and transcribe records for an adopted parish in Kent. They research as many sources as possible to find all the available historical data they can find on a parish. This includes census, parish registers, cemetery records and parish histories. Records are transcribed, and in order to promote further private research are made freely available to any researcher.
